Mike Frift – An obituary

Dear ACO members and friends,

It is with great sadness that the ACO was informed that Mike Frift, D.o.P. and camera operator died on 26th July. 

His work was stellar (Robin Hood – Prince of Thieves, Gangster No 1, The World is Not Enough, Colour Me Kubrick, The Madness of King George, Alien 3, The Secret Agent, Empire of the Sun) and his kindness and old fashioned manners – legendary. 

The ACO has lost one of its most respected members…. a sad day.
