Do you work in Camera for Film or Television?
Would you like to help refine the definitive list of best practice skills and knowledge for the industry?
Skillset is updating the National Occupational Standards for Camera to reflect current working methods in the industry. Draft Standards have been written after industry consultation.
Do you agree with them? We want to know what you think.
The online consultation will be running from the 20 February to 21 March Register your thoughts online here http://projectspace.stratagia.co.uk/collab/intro-screen/id/294f3f8239f6b20400e97d07895bd225 you can comment on as little or as much as you want - reflecting your experience and current role.
Your input really is invaluable and will help to shape the National Standards for Camera, which will be used in informing qualifications, job descriptions and other development tools for individuals, companies, trainers and educators.
Please forward this to anyone in your network who you think may also be interested.

A CELEBRATION OF FILM
Turbine Hall, Tate Modern
on Wednesday 22 February 2012
19:00 to 21:30
Please find attached an
invitation to the above reception.
Tacita Dean is a highly
regarded artist working in analogue and her installation `Film` at
the Turbine Hall is essential viewing for all those passionate about
film. The evening will not only present a unique opportunity to celebrate
the magic of film alongside 500 other expected guests, but also offers a chance
to see the installation itself.
Whether or not we`re
moving towards or already fully embracing the digital age I feel we should
wholeheartedly support and endorse Tacita Dean`s passion, because for some time
now she has been single handedly raising the profile of celluloid and the
potential demise of 16mm processing, through many published articles in the
national press and `Film` has attracted many wonderful reviews (links below).
